The PDQ Inventory dashboard is the first thing you see when you open the application. It provides a customizable, at-a-glance view of your inventory environment using widgets.
The dashboard is fully customizable: you choose which widgets appear, where they are positioned, and how often they refresh. Your layout is saved automatically and restored each time you open PDQ Inventory.
PDQ Inventory offers a rich set of widgets covering inventory status, SQL-powered visualizations, and collection metrics:
Status Widgets
•Devices Inventoried: total number of computers in your PDQ Inventory database.
•Devices Scanning: number of computers currently being scanned.
•Network Discovery Scan: current network discovery scan progress.
•Auto Reports: total number of configured auto reports.
•Devices with Errors: computers that encountered an error during their last scan.
•Devices Not Seen Recently: computers not successfully scanned in the last 30 days.
•Collection Metric: device count for a collection you choose.
SQL Widgets
•SQL Metric: a single numeric value from a SQL report.
•SQL Multi-Metric: multiple label/value rows from a SQL report.
•SQL Data Grid: full query results in a scrollable table.
•SQL Bar Chart: a bar chart visualization from a SQL report.
•SQL Pie Chart: a pie chart visualization from a SQL report.
•SQL Line Graph: a trend line from a SQL report.
Shared
•Changelog: recent PDQ Deploy & Inventory release notes and available updates.

To rearrange or remove widgets, click the Edit Dashboard button (pencil icon) in the top-right corner of the dashboard. In edit mode you can:
•Drag widgets to reorder them.
•Remove widgets by clicking the X on each widget.
•Add new widgets by clicking the Add Widget button (+ icon).
Click Done to exit edit mode and save your layout. For full details, see Customizing Your Dashboard.
Each widget refreshes automatically at a configurable interval (default: 5 minutes). You can also refresh all widgets at once by clicking Refresh All in the dashboard toolbar. While a widget is loading, a progress indicator is shown in the widget. If a widget fails to load data, it displays an error message; clicking the widget will retry the refresh.
