The Collection Metric widget shows the number of devices in a collection you choose. It updates automatically when collection membership changes, giving you an at-a-glance count for any group of devices you care about.
You can add multiple Collection Metric widgets to the same dashboard, each tracking a different collection.
To add a Collection Metric widget:
1.Enter edit mode by clicking the Edit Dashboard button (pencil icon).
2.Click the Add Widget button (+ icon) and select Collection Metric.
3.In the widget library panel, select the collection to track from the list of available collections.
4.Click Add to Dashboard.
The widget is added to the dashboard showing the selected collection's name and current device count.
The Collection Metric widget listens for membership changes in real time. When devices are added to or removed from the collection — by a scan, a manual change, or a filter criteria change — the count on the widget updates automatically without requiring a manual refresh.
