The PDQ Deploy dashboard is the first thing you see when you open the application. It provides a customizable, at-a-glance view of your deployment environment using widgets.
The dashboard is fully customizable: you choose which widgets appear, where they are positioned, and how often they refresh. Your layout is saved automatically and restored each time you open PDQ Deploy.
Each widget on the dashboard displays a live count or status related to a specific aspect of your environment. Widgets in PDQ Deploy include:
•Auto Downloads Waiting for Approval: the number of auto-downloaded packages awaiting your approval before deployment.
•Updated Packages: the number of packages in your library that have updates available.
•Running Deployments: the number of deployments currently in progress.
•Changelog: recent PDQ Deploy & Inventory release notes and available updates.
Widgets update automatically on a configurable schedule and can also be refreshed on demand. For details about each widget, see Dashboard Widgets.
To rearrange or remove widgets, click the Edit Dashboard button (pencil icon) in the top-right corner of the dashboard. In edit mode you can:
•Drag widgets to reorder them.
•Remove widgets by clicking the X on each widget.
•Add new widgets by clicking the Add Widget button (+ icon).
Click Done to exit edit mode and save your layout. For full details, see Customizing Your Dashboard.
Each widget refreshes automatically at a configurable interval (default: 5 minutes). You can also refresh all widgets at once by clicking Refresh All in the dashboard toolbar. While a widget is loading, a progress indicator is shown in the widget. If a widget fails to load data, it displays an error message; clicking the widget will retry the refresh.
